Bienvenue! My name is Jamie and I like golf. I grew up playing tennis in eastern Massachusetts, but fell in love with the game after watching Se Ri Pak defeat Jenny Chausiriporn at the 1998 U.S. Womens Open. I studied Hospitality & Tourism Management (with a focus on Event, Tourism, and Convention Management) at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. Tennis is my first love, but golf is a very close second. I believe style should equal substance, and the latter is nothing without the former.

A Quick Look at the Canadian Open Field...

Happy September everyone!

Taking a quick look at the CN Canadian Open field, and here are some nice tidbits:

  • This is the RETURN of Angela Park after all those retirement rumors from earlier in the summer. THANK GOODNESS!
  • Jimin Jeong is the only LPGA member to successfully qualify, despite the four spots up for grabs. Erynne Lee, Sarah Butler, & Adrienne White also snagged spots in the field.
  • 5 Amateurs were given sponsors exemptions.
  • Paula Creamer, Se Ri Pak, & Jane Park are all in the field this week, after WDing at some point last week at the Safeway Classic.
  • Somehow missed this from last week, but kudos to Paige MacKenzie for gaining a spot this week after her top 10 at the Safeway.
